An important part of SpaceEU will be a rigorous evaluation of the project’s impact. The findings will be shared among researchers and used to build future creative projects in space education and outreach. To ensure a lasting impact, textbook publishers will be lobbied to include space topics in textbooks over a variety of disciplines. Finally, spaceEU partners will work closely with the European Commission and national policy makers to promote the role of education and public engagement in the space strategy for Europe and will set the groundwork for the future establishment of a Knowledge Innovation Community (KIC) focused on space.
